Tribalj
Croatia
Tribalj is a Croatian water, and the channel calls it “the realm of big carp” — not an empty slogan: one of the videos landed a fish over thirty kilos, on a feeder rod.
The lake splits into two distinct areas: the dam and the bank. Which one to fish is a deliberate call in the videos — “not on the dam this time, but on the bank”. The water comes down from the mountains, but is held back at the dam.
Among the swims, 19 is “our super spot”, while 20 is explicitly not a favourite. Swims 14–16 and 18 also come up; Croatian anglers had been on 18, and the tip about a red bait came from them — and it worked.
Depth varies sharply: there is good depth in front of the concrete dam, but elsewhere it is very shallow. Feature-finding is therefore not a formality here. The method in the videos: start leading at 80 metres and work out until clean ground appears — once a good clear spot turned up at exactly 100 metres — then fish 5–10 metres back from the edge of it.
Conditions run wide: both forty degrees and six degrees appear in the videos, and wind has a real say — one session had to be abandoned early and cut short because of it. Bait included a Venom boilie, an SBS C1 boilie and a red M1 pop-up, and mini boilies were fished too.
