Privacy policy
The short version: this site collects no data about you. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking, no advertising. The sections below describe what does happen when you load a page, play a video, or write to us.
Who handles the data
The fishandtrips.hu site and the Fish & Trips channel are run by Vito Consulting Bt. Fish & Trips is a brand name rather than a company of its own, so Vito Consulting Bt. is the data controller for everything below.

What we do not do
There is no analytics on this site and no tracking script of any kind. There is no sign-up, no newsletter and no advertising.
We use no cookies either. The one thing on the site you can set is the reading view, and even that is not stored anywhere: it is forgotten the moment you leave the page.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, and the files live on Google Firebase Hosting. Both keep operational logs of requests: IP address, browser identifier, the address requested and the time.
These exist to keep the site running and to fend off attacks. We do not read through them, and we build no profile of anyone from them.
YouTube videos
Videos load from youtube-nocookie.com, so opening a page does not in itself hand any data to YouTube.
Once you play a video, though, the playback comes from YouTube, and Google's own data handling applies to it from that point on.
If you send an email
Mail sent to [email protected] is forwarded to a mailbox by Cloudflare Email Routing. We keep your message for as long as the matter it concerns is open.
We pass it on to nobody, and we add it to no list.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to [email protected].
Catch Register
This policy covers fishandtrips.hu only. The Catch Register app has its own privacy policy, at catchregister.app.
