Harsány is the channel's match venue: several of the five videos were shot at boilie matches, with swims drawn by lot.
One rule worth knowing in advance: fish over fifteen kilos have to be reported. In the video this shapes the whole weighing routine — the fish is re-weighed in front of the scales, and taring the sling comes up, because whether the fish falls under or over the reporting threshold turns on it.
Swims 4, 5 and 7 come up. Swim 4 is shaded, which is a real advantage in a summer match. Swim 5, by contrast, is described as not having produced a countable fish even later in that session — though the next match was won by the anglers sitting there.
The most instructive pattern here is the turn in the weather. On one session nothing happened for days, then a Wednesday cold front broke it open: five fish in a day, three of them over twenty kilos and one over twenty-five. The warden's information was that fish had been coming from the shallow part before that, but not in numbers.
Bait included locally available boiled corn as groundbait, Venom and SBS boilies, artificial corn and larvae; both whole and halved boilies were fished.
